David Jonsson Cast as Prince T'Challa II in Black Panther 3

Marvel Studios announced at San Diego Comic-Con that actor David Jonsson will star as Prince T'Challa II in the upcoming film Black Panther 3.

The sequel, which also features returning cast members Leticia Wright and Winston Duke, is officially scheduled for a theatrical release on December 15, 2028.

Director Ryan Coogler will return for the third installment, which follows the 2022 film Wakanda Forever that earned over $850 million at the worldwide box office.
