Overnight showers in Gurugram brought relief by lowering pollution levels, but widespread waterlogging disrupted traffic across several key stretches of the city.
Pataudi tehsil recorded the district's highest rainfall at 80mm in the 24 hours ending at 8:30am on Friday, followed by Farrukhnagar at 51mm.
Gurugram's air quality index improved significantly to stand at 80 in the satisfactory category at 11:30am on Friday, compared to 243 on Thursday.
