Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson will sit out the start of Week 4 preparations due to an ankle sprain sustained in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell described Jefferson's status as day-to-day and expressed optimism about the explosive player's potential availability for October 4 against Miami.
Jefferson briefly returned to the sidelines in Week 3 after suffering the injury but was kept out for the remainder of the 23-16 victory.
