Mumbai Indians Appoint Zubin Bharucha as Director of Performance

Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians have appointed 56-year-old Zubin Bharucha as their new Director of Performance to lead the franchise's coaching and development strategy.

Bharucha previously served as the Director of Cricket Operations for the Rajasthan Royals from 2018 to 2026, where he was credited with developing stars like Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The appointment aims to end Mumbai Indians' trophy drought, as the team has not won an IPL title since 2020 and has finished in the bottom half of the table multiple times.
