The Delhi High Court imposed a token cost of ₹1 on Niva Bupa Health Insurance for pursuing a ₹5 crore suit against influencer Vishal Rattewal.
Justice Anup J. Bhambhani ruled that using an insurance company's trademark to identify it in social media posts did not constitute trademark infringement.
The court held that the suit was not maintainable before the Intellectual Property Division, allowing Niva Bupa to withdraw and file a civil action.
