Procter & Gamble (P&G) has agreed to acquire the health supplements manufacturer Thorne for $3.8 billion to expand its presence in the wellness sector.
The deal, announced on August 5, aims to integrate Thorne’s specialized supplement portfolio into P&G’s existing health care division to capture growing consumer demand.
P&G CEO confirmed the acquisition will be finalized by the end of the year, marking a strategic shift toward high-growth health and wellness categories.
