
Berkshire Hathaway's cash and Treasury bill holdings fell to $365.5 billion by the end of June 2026, down from $397.4 billion at the end of March, as CEO Greg Abel shifts investment strategy.
The company repurchased $4.5 billion in shares during the second quarter and invested nearly $20 billion more in stocks than it sold, including a $10 billion stake in Alphabet.
Quarterly operating profit rose 16% to $12.98 billion, while net income surged to $25.6 billion, more than double the $12.3 billion reported in the same period last year.
