The Treasury Department stated that some targeted entities also collaborated with former Olympian Ryan Wedding, who is accused by the FBI of running a massive cocaine network.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent criticized Canada for failing to prevent illicit financial facilitators from providing sanctions evasion services to the Iranian regime.
