45-Year-Old Kashmiri Woman Clears Class 10 Board Exams

Renu Hans, a 45-year-old speech- and hearing-impaired Kashmiri Pandit woman, passed her JKBOSE Class 10 board examination with 82 percent.

Renu appeared for the bi-annual exam in April after a 22-year gap, supported by her family and her son Naman Koul, a Class 12 Science student.

The family resides in a government flat in Jammu after migrating from the Kashmir valley's Kulgam district during the early 1990s.
