Six Arrested After Vandalism at Abhishek Banerjee's Kolkata Office

Kolkata Police have arrested six individuals following the ransacking of TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee’s Camac Street office at approximately 4:30 a.m. on September 3, 2026.

CCTV footage shows three to four masked intruders removing televisions and equipment from the premises, leading Banerjee to allege that BJP supporters were responsible for the attack.

Banerjee has demanded the Chief Minister's resignation over the incident, while TMC leaders have urged the Calcutta High Court to intervene to uphold the rule of law.
