A family court in Uttar Pradesh imposed a fine of ₹3,000 on Bhojpuri actor and BJP MLC Pawan Singh for missing a maintenance case hearing.
Singh's lawyer submitted a medical certificate stating his mother was unwell along with a mediation application before Additional Principal Judge Kamalapati Prajapati.
The court scheduled the next hearing for November 12, amidst ongoing legal proceedings initiated by his wife Jyoti Singh, who filed a maintenance petition in April 2022.
