Yashasvi Jaiswal named in Mumbai Ranji squad, Suryakumar Yadav omitted

India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has been named in Mumbai's 16-member squad for their Ranji Trophy opener against Chandigarh starting October 11.

Teenager Ayush Mhatre has been appointed vice-captain of the side, which will be led by senior pro Siddhesh Lad.

Former T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav was left out of the squad because he has not played red-ball cricket in the last one and a half years.
