A Wall Street Journal report alleged that US Envoy to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle asked Kentucky MAGA donor Eric Deters to pay a $100,000 credit card bill in exchange for administrative favors.
Guilfoyle allegedly offered to use her Trump administration connections to assist Deters with IRS and Department of Justice issues.
Deters claimed he also paid a separate $300,000 speaking fee for similar favors, while Guilfoyle's attorneys disputed the messages' authenticity.
