Repair specialist Ricky Panesar estimates that replacing the inner folding display of the upcoming iPhone Ultra could cost approximately $1,155, or £850.

This projected cost is significantly higher than Samsung's current repair fees, which are listed at $579 for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and $639 for the Z Fold 8 Ultra.

The high estimate is attributed to the complexity of Apple's expected hinge design and the use of a specialized Samsung Display panel for the first-generation foldable device.
