AMD Forecasts Strong 2027 Growth as Data-Center Sales Surge

AMD forecasted overall revenue to rise more than 80% in 2027, exceeding analyst estimates and driving company shares up 8% in extended trading.

Data-center revenue surged 97% to a record $8.55 billion in the third quarter, while total quarterly revenue rose 45% to $13.38 billion.

The company expects fourth-quarter revenue of about $17 billion, bolstered by rising demand for its artificial intelligence chips and data-center processors.
