IT Ministry Summons Meta Over Removal of PM Modi's Video

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology summoned Meta's global head of public policy following the unauthorized removal of a video posted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The video, uploaded on July 23, featured the Prime Minister promising strict action against examination paper leaks amid ongoing student protests.

A Meta spokesperson confirmed the content was removed in error and has since been restored to the platform.
