India's Anahat Singh lost her 2026 Silicon Valley Open semifinal match against Malaysia's Sivasangari Subramaniam in Redwood City on Saturday.
After winning the first game 11-5, the 18-year-old conceded the next three games with scores of 11-6, 11-4, and 11-7.
Despite the defeat, Anahat advanced to the semifinals by defeating top seed Nour El Sherbini and sixth seed Salma Hany in earlier rounds.
