South Korea demands apology from Ukraine over POW disclosure

South Korea's presidential office demanded an official apology from Ukraine after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly revealed sending two North Korean POWs to Seoul.

Senior presidential secretary Seong Ghi-hong stated that the unilateral disclosure violated a confidentiality agreement and damaged bilateral trust.

Ukrainian presidential aide Dmytro Lytvyn responded that Ukraine operates as an open country and reporting the transfer was appropriate.
