Former U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer Announces Resignation as MP

Former British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his resignation as the Member of Parliament for Holborn & St. Pancras after serving as an MP for 11 years.

Starmer, who led the U.K. for over two years before being ousted in July, stated he will now focus on international affairs, including trade, security, and preventing violence against women.

He expressed support for his successor Andy Burnham and confirmed he will back the Labour candidate chosen to contest the upcoming by-election for his former constituency.
