The University of Georgia School of Medicine welcomed 64 students into its inaugural class on July 27, 2026, selected from a pool of over 2,000 applicants.

The class maintains an average MCAT score of 514 and an average GPA of 3.85, with 95% of the students being Georgia residents.

The school plans to hold a White Coat Ceremony in August and open a new medical education and research building in December.
