SCCL Reports 4% Coal Growth and Prioritises Telangana Thermal Power Stations

Singareni Collieries Company Limited transported 299.4 lakh tonnes of coal in the first six months of the financial year, marking a 4% increase from 287.6 lakh tonnes previously.

SCCL supplied 198.2 lakh tonnes to Telangana thermal power stations, representing a 24.58% rise compared to 159.1 lakh tonnes during the same period last year.

Chairman Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti stated that SCCL aims to achieve annual targets of 620 lakh tonnes in production and 650 lakh tonnes in transportation.
