Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake assured Defence Minister Rajnath Singh that Sri Lankan territory will not be used for activities detrimental to India's security interests.
The two nations signed three agreements, including a grant-based project to upgrade six L70 air-defence guns and MoUs for cooperation between their respective National Defence Colleges and Cadet Corps.
The leaders also virtually inaugurated three Indian-built Bailey bridges, reinforcing bilateral ties following India's assistance during Cyclone Ditwah and the ongoing maritime partnership.
