The Naga feature film 'Angh', directed by Theja Rio, won the Platform Prize at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.
The victory gives the Konyak-language film a direct qualification for the Best International Feature Film category at the Academy Awards.
Meanwhile, the Spanish queer epic 'La Bola Negra' won TIFF's top People's Choice Award ahead of its October theatrical release.
