Filmmaker Farah Khan revealed that several industry insiders urged her not to work with newcomer Shreya Ghoshal for Main Hoon Na.
Despite doubts over her ability to handle the songs, Farah and music composer Anu Malik firmly believed in Shreya's talent.
Shreya sang two tracks for the 2004 film, including the title track and Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha, composed by Anu Malik.
