The Opposition INDIA bloc urged President Droupadi Murmu on Friday to repeal Assembly elections held over the last two years, alleging large-scale vote theft.
The memorandum demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, suspension of the electoral roll revision, and a return to paper ballots.
Opposition leaders stated they would meet the Chief Justice of India on Monday with a similar memorandum and plan further political pressure.
