Auto-generated Form 7 applications were issued for approximately 95,000 voters in Uttarakhand who failed logical discrepancy hearings or missed them, the chief electoral officer said on Thursday.
These applications account for over half of the 173,000 Form 7 filings during the special intensive revision, where the draft roll dropped over 826,000 people from the pre-SIR count.
The Congress party alleged large-scale irregularities and misuse of Form 7 in several constituencies, while the CEO office maintained that the revision follows proper rules.
