Blockchain investigators have linked North Korea’s Lazarus Group to an alleged $6.3 billion Binance hack that occurred on October 29.
TRM Labs attributed the incident to TraderTraitor, while ZachXBT identified the Lazarus Group as the probable attacker following transfers across Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Tron.
Blockaid analyzed a suspicious EIP-7702 authorization that may have enabled the attacker to transfer assets from a Binance hot wallet.
