Rahul Gandhi Intervenes to Prevent Former MLA Rahul Bondre From Joining BJP

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi telephoned former Chikhli MLA Rahul Bondre on a conference call to persuade him against switching to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Maharashtra Congress chief Harshvardhan Sapkal connected Rahul Gandhi with Bondre, who had announced intentions to join the BJP ahead of a planned reception with Devendra Fadnavis.

Bondre assured Gandhi that he would remain with the Congress party and support him despite previous political losses.
