Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv could hold elections if Russia agreed to a total 60-day ceasefire.
Zelensky responded to US President Donald Trump's call for him to be replaced by a leader willing to end the war.
Trump had criticised Zelensky over Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries that contributed to rising diesel prices.
