Telangana Expands Cancer Care Services Across All Districts With 35,000 Cases Logged

Telangana expanded cancer treatment services to all 33 districts, establishing day-care centres to provide local chemotherapy and reduce travel requirements to Hyderabad.

Government advisor Dr. Nori Dattatreyudu informed Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha that 35,000 cancer cases have been logged on the state's dedicated portal.

The state has also achieved 67% coverage in its Human Papillomavirus vaccination drive, inoculating 2.3 lakh eligible girls out of 3.4 lakh.
