Mohun Bagan Defeats Jamshedpur FC to Reach Durand Cup Semifinals

Mohun Bagan Super Giant advanced to the Durand Cup 2026 semifinals after defeating Jamshedpur FC 9-8 in a penalty shootout at the Salt Lake Stadium on Monday.

The quarterfinal match ended 1-1 in regulation time, with Sahal Abdul Samad scoring for Mohun Bagan and Devendra netting the equaliser for Jamshedpur FC.

Goalkeeper Vishal Kaith secured the win for Mohun Bagan by saving a penalty from Jamshedpur's Mama, allowing Tekcham to score the decisive spot-kick.
