Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant requested assistance from Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday to acquire land for building a home in his native state.
The 28-year-old cricketer, currently in Sri Lanka for a Test series, stated he has struggled for three years to find suitable land and explicitly requested to purchase it at government rates.
Pant clarified that he is not seeking a gift but wants to shift his base from Delhi to Uttarakhand to support his home state after years of international representation.
