Cristiano Ronaldo was left out of Al-Nassr's squad for an upcoming AFC Champions League match against Pakhtakor in Tashkent.
Coach Ange Postecoglou stated that Ronaldo was rested due to match pressure and travel fatigue following a recent hat-trick in the Saudi Pro League.
Concerns persist regarding regional security and the feasibility of holding the upcoming Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia in January.
