At least 16 people, including five police officers, were killed after an explosives-laden vehicle rammed into a mosque in north-western Pakistan.
A gun battle continued between attackers and security forces at the mosque near the police headquarters in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police chief inspector general Zulfikar Hameed described the incident as a suicide attack, while no group claimed immediate responsibility.
