India deeply concerned about Bab-el-Mandeb and Hormuz blockades

India expressed deep concern over blockades in the Bab-el-Mandeb and Hormuz straits amid Houthi attacks and an incident involving an oil tanker.

Omani authorities are assisting in search operations for a missing Indian seafarer after a tanker carrying 14 Indians was targeted off the Oman coast.

The Ministry of External Affairs stated that oil supplies from the region have remained unaffected so far despite rising regional tensions.
