Kuki-Naga Clashes Escalate Violence in Manipur's Hill Districts

Violence between Kuki and Naga communities has intensified, marking the deadliest phase with 19 deaths reported in September.

The conflict has shifted to hill districts like Ukhrul and Kamjong, which were largely unaffected by earlier Meitei-Kuki-Zo violence.

Nearly 100 people have been killed in over 300 incidents in Manipur between January 1 and October 10, according to ACLED.
