A Delhi Transport Corporation bus struck pedestrians on DBG Road in Anand Parbat on Saturday, killing one woman on the spot and injuring several others.
Eyewitnesses stated that a woman was driving the bus while a scooty remained stuck underneath, and angry locals pelted stones that damaged the windowpanes.
Police are tracing the absconding woman driver as further details regarding the tragic incident remain awaited.
