Nepal Flash Flood Death Toll Reaches 675

A flash flood triggered by a Himalayan glacier collapse on August 26, 2026, has killed at least 675 people in Nepal and Tibet.

Authorities report that nearly 2,400 individuals remain missing, while over 3,700 people have been rescued from the debris-covered valleys of Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Dhading.

Khalsa Aid volunteers are providing relief, including hot meals and medical aid, to approximately 400 people sheltered in a Nuwakot camp after authorities restricted external rescue operations.
