Six NEET-UG candidates filed a petition in the Supreme Court on Tuesday alleging significant discrepancies between their marked OMR sheets and the copies provided by the National Testing Agency.
The petitioners, who each secured between 600 and 650 marks, sought an urgent hearing from a bench led by CJI Surya Kant as the national counselling process is currently underway.
Counsel for the students stated that previous attempts to resolve the issue directly with the NTA via email and office visits yielded no response, threatening their admission prospects.
