Veteran filmmaker, screenwriter, and composer Singeetam Srinivasa Rao passed away on Saturday at the age of 94, leaving behind a six-decade career across multiple Indian languages.
Rao directed over 60 films spanning genres such as science fiction, comedy, and drama, including classics like Pushpaka Vimana, Aditya 369, and Mayuri.
Actor Jr NTR and other film figures paid tribute to the visionary director, whose 1987 silent black comedy Pushpaka Vimana won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film.
