India Women's Hockey Team Advances to World Cup Second Round

India qualified for the second round of the FIH Women’s Hockey World Cup 2026 after securing a goalless draw against England in their final Pool D match.

Finishing second in Pool D with five points from three games, India will now join Pool E alongside the Netherlands, Australia, and China for the next stage.

The top two teams from the new four-team Pool E will progress to the semifinals of the tournament.
