Counting of votes begins for North-East Teachers' constituency in Karnataka

Counting of votes for the Karnataka Legislative Council North-East Teachers’ constituency began at 8 a.m. on Tuesday at Gulbarga University in Kalaburagi.

A total of 30,250 out of 34,784 eligible voters exercised their franchise during the election held on October 23, recording a voter turnout of 86.97%.

Authorities arranged 14 counting tables, with each table assigned one district-level officer and two assistant officers to oversee the 13 candidates in the fray.
