NTA Implements Four-Tier Security Overhaul for Examination Integrity

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a major operational overhaul on August 19, 2026, introducing a four-tier paper checking system to prevent future irregularities.

As part of the restructuring, the agency has removed over 600 staff members and integrated CISF security personnel at its offices to ensure the confidentiality of exam materials.

These measures follow the recent NEET-UG and UGC-NET controversies, aiming to restore student trust in the national examination process through stricter oversight and accountability.
