IIM Bangalore and Axis Bank partner to establish Centre of Economics

Axis Bank and IIM Bangalore signed an MoU to set up the Centre of Economics at the IIMB–Dorabji Tata School of Undergraduate Studies in Jigani, Bengaluru.

Axis Bank will fund the construction of the centre within Phase I of the new campus, while also supporting faculty development, research, and scholarships.

The school welcomed its inaugural batch of 80 students across Data Sciences and Economics programmes in August 2026.
