A foreign national coach from Kazakhstan has been booked under the POCSO Act and BNS for allegedly raping a 16-year-old national-level cyclist at the NIS campus in Punjab's Patiala.
The incident occurred on September 13 at the coach's residential quarter, and the victim filed a police complaint on September 18 at the Civil Lines police station.
Patiala SP Mohit Agarwal stated that the accused has evaded police and fled to Delhi, prompting authorities to seize his passport and issue a lookout circular.
