US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday for his second visit to India this year to hold bilateral talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in defence, security, technology, and critical minerals amidst continuing bilateral strains.
Rubio's itinerary includes laying a wreath at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel, meeting Jaishankar, and attending the Freedom 250 reception at the Jio World Convention Centre.
