India condemned attacks on two commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz after a drone strike on the MT Petro Dolphin left two of its 11 Indian crew members missing.
A second vessel, the MT Valthera, was struck by an unknown projectile causing a fire, though all 11 Indian seafarers on board were reported safe.
The Ministry of External Affairs called for immediate de-escalation, safeguarding freedom of navigation, and diplomatic resolution as the Indian embassy in Muscat coordinates rescue efforts.
