Sony introduced the ECM-AX10 microphone in India, priced at Rs 17,990 and designed to capture spatial audio on compatible smartphones via a USB-C connection.
The compact microphone weighs 24 grams and features four built-in omnidirectional capsules supporting ambisonics, binaural, and stereo recording modes.
The device works alongside Sony's Spatial Audio Video Tool app and is available across e-commerce platforms and selected retailers starting October 21, 2026.
