Google Photos Update Introduces Redact Pen, AI Moods, and Wardrobe Features

Google Photos rolled out an update featuring an upgraded Markup tool with a Redact pen to blur sensitive information across Android and iOS devices.

The update brings AI-assisted 'Moods' to simulate vintage formats like 35mm film, alongside 15 new Remix templates for generating creative photo edits.

The company expanded its AI-powered Wardrobe feature to users in India, the US, and Brazil, while integrating Gemini Spark to help eligible subscribers organize family portraits.
