Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah finalized the allocation of cabinet portfolios on the eve of the Monsoon Session, ending weeks of internal party negotiations.
The Chief Minister has retained the crucial Finance and Cabinet Affairs portfolios, while Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar has been assigned the BDA and BMRDA departments.
A total of 19 ministers were inducted into the cabinet, with key assignments including Social Welfare for K.H. Muniyappa and Housing for Zameer Ahmed Khan.
